The console didn't have a disc stuck in it when I bought it, but it wasn't reading the disc I put in and was having trouble accepting and ejecting discs, as if it wasn't gripping the discs hard enough or not pulling/pushing with enough power. I took it apart, cleaned it, and put it back together.
